Blog#3: My City(Nao Murakami)

Hello, this is Nao Murakami. I would like to introduce some intresting things in my city. My city is Itabashi, which is known for the residential area, but there are some nice place to visit. First of all, tourist can enjoy cherry blossoms in Spring. Syakujii river is lined with many cherry blossom trees. It is very beautiful in spring. Syakujii river is about 25 Km long, and there are more than 1000 cherry blossom trees in both side of the river. Tourist can enjoy it in daytime, but I recommend them to see in night time, because cherry blossoms are illuminated and more beautiful at night.

Second, tourists can enjoy fireworks in summmer. It is probably the most famous ivent in Itabashi, and it displayes 11000 fireworks which include the biggest firework in Tokyo. More than 500000 people come to see it. They can see it free, but there are also reserved seats which are not free. Reserved seats are not cheap, but you don't need to worry about the seat and the view.
Third, tourist can enjoy Jyourennji. It has Tokyo Daibutu which was selected as top 100 Tokyo sightseeing place and it is the third largest Daibutu in Japan. Also, Jyourennji has some cultural assets. Foe example, Naoki Uemura's grave. He was a famous adventurer in the world.
 please enjoy my city, Itabashi!!
